Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. 🤗 This will be a short post, just to give you some news. The first is about Extraordinarily Parallel Lives: the first contest I entered the novel into has ended... and we didn't make it past the first round. 😔 Never mind, it had already been factored in. I'm already looking ahead to find a contest more suited to us. The second piece of news is that April was a very intense month for my writing: I finally managed to finish the manuscript I had left unfinished. 🤪 I've already done a first reading for corrections, cuts, and additions. Now I'm taking a break for a fortnight or so to unwind and relax; then I'll do a second reading of the manuscript. From the very first read, I felt something was missing... but I still don't know what. 😕 I hope that, rereading it, the pages will speak to me and make me understand what's really needed. 😮 Meanwhile, another piece of news: for those who don't know, the manuscript I just finished is a fantasy. 🤖 My intention—for now, because my decisions have been a bit erratic lately—is to insert an image at the beginning of some chapters that represents the chapter itself and, more generally, the atmosphere of the book. Since I wrote the manuscript with the help of artificial intelligence (Copilot), I'm using AI for the images too. I think it's right to show you what I imagined while writing: the places, some characters, and in general the aesthetics of the world I'm talking about. That's all for today.
